The Friends of Bradford Cathedral is a Registered Charity (no: 1049398) which exists to bring together in fellowship all those who care for the Cathedral. We support the Cathedral and its staff through prayer for its work and through fund-raising for special projects as well as for upkeep and maintenance.
Our patron is the Bishop of Bradford, the President is the Dean of Bradford, and Marion Parry and Sir James Hill are Vice Presidents.
We have supported many and varied projects within the Cathedral over the years. We wish to support the use of the building as "Sacred Space" where art and music can play their part in enhancing the work and worship of those who come into the Cathedral. We are committed to the improvement of display facilities for the welcome of visitors and for work with schools, both of which are important features of the Cathedral’s ministry.
The programme of fellowship continues with pilgrimages, the annual lecture, visits to other parishes and Winter Warmers...
Please look at our Events page for details of plans for this year.
There is something for everyone, and we invite you to join the Friends now and help us to fresh witness in the 21st century.
