The Vetting and Barring Scheme
Attached here is a Guidance booklet which has been recently published to provide information to employers, voluntary organisations, employees and volunteers. The booklet covers key points, the scope of the Scheme and key dates.
This is an excellent booklet which hopefully should answer any questions you may have about the Scheme. If, however, you need further clarification the helpline number for the Scheme is 0300 123 1111.
