The Monthly ('Clergy') Mailing
The Diocesan Mailing is being made more widely available in electronic format. The period of development and improvement to the system is now coming to an end - and the delivery of the Mailing will now be done electronically. All public documents will be available from this page as soon as they are processed.
All members of the Diocese can sign up to receive a monthly email, with details and links to all the documents, (including any private ones). To do this, visit the Diocesan Mailing List page.
As this mailing list is intended for internal use only, any request to subscribe will be held for authorisation. This will usually be quick and simple, especially if the address subscribed matches one already in the Diocesan Database.
Now that we use a more ecologically sound method of sharing information (you only need to print the documents that are of concern to you), the way that you send material for the mailing becomes more significant.
If you simply send a paper copy to the Diocesan Office, this will NO LONGER BE INCLUDED in the electronic distribution. (Each month, a note of documents held in the office will be included as part of the Mailing. You can call and collect these.)
Please send your document in electronic format:
-
As a MS Word document.
This is the "default" format and we can simply translate that into a suitable .pdf file.
Please do NOT simply paste a picture (eg a scanned page) into a Word document. That doesn't help much!
If all you have is a single image, then send it as it is.
If your document includes typed words and a picture, then that is fine - send it! -
As an Adobe Acrobat .pdf document.
This is how it will be put on the website, so if you can do the translation yourself, that is helpful. -
In another recognised document format.
There is no guarantee that we can read everything you send - but we'll try!
Send your electronic copy to the Diocesan Office office@kadugli.org.uk
