Service to be held at Bradford Cathedral on Sunday 19 October at 10.15am, celebrating 60 years of the NHS in Bradford District.
Caring in His Name training poster
3 Saturday training sessions at Kadugli House on 24 January, 21 February and 28 March 2009 for those either already engaged in or considering pastoral care.
In-site Poster for Children's Work at Baildon
It's a manic hour and a half at St. Hugh's Baildon for children aged 7-11! Just once each half-term we meet together with many of the leaders from in:site 2008/2009. There are games and songs, but there's also praise and worship, teaching and learning, reflection and prayer. It's a church experience just for children that provides a dynamic such as you'll rarely find in any single local church - a big number of children (anything up to 50) and around 20 trained and experienced children's leaders.
Getting to Grips with the Gospels Poster
Morning seminar on different aspects of the gospels on Saturday 22 November from 10am-1pm at Kadugli House. Booking essential.
In-site 2009 Poster
Run by a trained team of Christian volunteers from a range of local churches and headed up by Paul Deo (Airedale Deanery Children's Adviser), in:site 2009 aims to offer up to 50 children a fun-packed six days away. There'll be space to learn, think, discuss, reflect and grow, all as part of a varied programme including all the usual Nell Bank activities. Because we'll be sleeping in tents at Nell Bank, spaces are limited to 25 boys and 25 girls, so e-mail Paul now and he'll send you a form to print and send off, so that you can be sure to book your place.
Music in Worship
A training day to be held on Saturday, November 8 at Heslington Church, York which will look at possibilities and opportunities for music in worship. The keynote speaker will be Anne Harrison, Regional Coordinator for the RSCM in Durham, Newcastle and Carlisle Dioceses.
