Regenerate:

Opportunities and Challenges in Ministry in the Christian/Muslim Context

Thursday, 12 November 9.45am - 3.30pm The Aspen Suite, Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford

The main faith communities In Bradford are Christian and Muslim. In this context the church faces a range of opportunities and challenges in ministry, and as 60% of the Muslim population is under 25 these are most acutely faced by our children and young people.

This day will help equip you in your work with Christian children and young people as you seek to develop their confidence to participate more fully in their local Christian-Muslim communities as they live out the Gospel in their everyday lives. This time at regenerate we are partnering with Bradford Churches for Diversity and Dialogue (BCDD) to explore this work and we also hope to meet local Muslims who will speak honestly about the experience and view of Muslim children and young people.

Leading us is Dr Andrew Smith, Director of Young Encounter for the Scripture Union.
