DAC Chairman

The Bishop has appointed Canon Alan Fell as Chairman of the Diocesan Advisory Committee in succession to Canon John Nowell who retired after six years service.

Bishop David says ; 'I am very grateful to John for his ministry as Chairman of the DAC; he has led the committee through a number of projects large and small, always keen to encourage parishes to develop their buildings for mission and to look to the future, as well as assisting with the general care and maintenance of the churches. He has always been keen for the reordering and restoration work to be to the glory of God.'

Alan is the Vicar of Sedbergh, Cautley and Garsdale and Priest-in-Charge of Firbank, Howgill and Killington and has been a member of DACs here and earlier in Chester for 27 years. He also serves on the National Church Buildings Council.
