The New Diocesan logo

With the launch of the new Diocesan logo and the "Future Faithful" strapline, parishes and committees will need to access the artwork. This is the place!

For an explanation of the meaning of the logo and strapline, click here

The logo is in five main colours (and white) - these are designated as follows

The designer's definitions are shown to the left in the "CMYK" scheme. Many graphics packages normally use the "RGB" definitions and these (as far as I can be sure. Each "official" copy of the graphics appear to arrive with different colours...) are shown to the right. They are displayed both as hexadecimal numbers (a group of three numbers, each from "00" to "FF") and as decimal numbers (the same values, between 0 and 255)

In parenthesis are the closest "web-safe" matches.

The Strapline is in shades of black and grey

The logo and strapline are presented in several sizes in .gif format.
These are all bundled together in a single "zip" package for simple downloading

Diocesan Logo

The Colour version in large, medium and small sizes.

Use the large one for printing and the medium and smaller ones for websites

The Grey version in large, medium and small sizes.

If a document is to be photocopied or faxed, the grey or black and white versions of the logo should be used in preference to the colour one.

The Black version in three sizes.

Use this one if the grey strap does not reproduce well

The "ident", "Future Faithful" is also available in three sizes.

It comes as a transparent .gif, so that a background will show through.
These are optimised for a white (or nearly white) background
