Bradford Diocesan Spirituality Group
The main aim of the group is to be a place of contact for parishes and individuals seeking resources for spiritual development.
We achieve this in 2 ways:
Spiritual Direction
A Spiritual Director is someone who journeys with another person encouraging and enthusing them in their spiritual journey of life. The role of a Spiritual Director is about listening, discerning, and helping to develop new spiritual insights.
We focus on developing and maintaining the ministry of Spiritual Direction in the Diocese by:

Running regular training courses for people exploring that ministry

Holding an annual Consultation for those engaged in the ministry.

Keeping a list of ecumenical Spiritual Directors available within the area covered by Bradford Diocese.

Helping find a Spiritual Director for people who are seeking one.

Maintaining a support system for Spiritual Directors.

Running short courses and taster days for anyone.

Offering guidance on Safe Practice for those seeking Spiritual Direction
