Lay Training
A great deal of lay training is now organised by the Bradford School of Ministry and you can find out more about the School and the various courses it runs below. To discuss any of these courses please contact Steve Allen.
Steve can also assist churches to organise tailor-made training events to meet specific needs in a parish. Even if he's not the appropriate person to deliver the course, he may well be able to help organise it and, at the very least, access the Adult Education Fund to help pay for it. Individuals are also welcome to apply for a grant from the Fund to help them attend conferences, retreats or other training.
Not all training in the Diocese is organised by the School. Training in areas such as Mission & Evangelism or Church in the World is often organised by the prospective officers for those areas. See elsewhere on the website for details. |
